In My Mind

blogs are like direct lines into the minds of others. This is a scary proposition for many folks, myself included. blogs are the beginning of something new...again, mine is no exception.

what is this new thing? something mostly existing in my mind (if you can use the mind as an actual place where things really exist.) something instructed by history. something driven by my faith. something experienced and encountered every day as I live on the edge of the future and the present. The Once and Future Church.

the Body of Christ at its best in antiquity, at present, and in what is to come. a discussion, hopefully not limited to an unfeeling, uninvolved, completely objective perspective, but an opinion...an idea machine grinding out faith as it is lived daily. I am not alone in my journey. The saints who have gone before are here. They are too many to list. All of us live in their light, the light of what has been. We are all contributing to the light of what will be. With that in mind, think of this blog as my flashlight. A wee speck of light in the vast sky of the future paradigm, helping me only to see dimly as in a mirror. But one day...we shall see and know fully and be fully known.
